Im so confused
isnt anyone there
to help me through
my great despair

its like their blind
and cannot see
when their standing
right in front of me

my best friend hates me
because i stopped talking
my parents too
but they just annoy me

they dont understand
but they think they do
the world has changed
since 1972

why doesnt anyone understand
i dont like talking
i like being quiet
and staying in my room

no one can hurt me
