All I Have To Ask

by -Immortal.Soul-   Oct 24, 2006

At times I feel like I'm standing at the top of the twin towers, on September the 11th, just before they were hit..
Feeling so free, so alive, so bright.
But then in a number of seconds I'm falling to the ground, landing in a pile of bodies and building.

I can't help but think of all those lives that were taken on this day. Waking up to a normal day, kissing goodbye to a loved one or shutting the door to their home for the last time.

Every time I leave a room, every time I say goodbye to a loved one, I can't help but take one long look, take one last kiss, one last hug.

I don't ever want to be taken, with out any warning but this is the way of life.
Some people say that God has a 'plan' for each and every one of us, but I think he is just there to look after us when our bodies decide to go.

Take every kiss as the last, take every breath as if there is no other, love every hug like you will never see then again. That is all I have to ask..
