Broken Inside

You'd think by my smiles that everything's fine

and that I'm not at all broken inside

By all the laughs that I let out

No one knows what I'm really about

But at times when I'm all alone

All my tears are surely shown

So many scars I have to hide

Because I'm all broken inside

If only once I could have a true smile

Then all the waiting and pain would have been worth while

The things I do to let out the pain

will always be there to remain

I may be able to hide it all

but not much longer, for I can see I'm about to fall

About to hit the all time low

and disappear into the worlds largest shadow

My heart has withered and died

and I'm all broken inside

There's no cure, there never will be

For something that is this scary

I'm just a girl in this world of black and white

And I'm only lead by one dim light

If others would open it up and free their minds

Maybe they could understand this cold heart of mine

And they'd know why I'm all broken inside

Give me wings so I can fly away

because it's in this world, I can no longer stay

If only they could see

that a soul never existed in me

and maybe they would understand why

I'm completely broken inside

-------------It's definitely not one of the best..it's a little unorganized, but it works for now. I haven't written a poem in a while and the is the best I could come up with at the time, even though it's not that great, I still like it. What do you think of it? Let me know please.
