Bleeding Slashes

Running the blade across my veins
Bleeding away all the pain
Making me go crazy yet keeping me sane
These deep red scars are all that remain

Harsh words are hard to forget
Remembering them all makes me upset
In nightmares, I see my dark sillhouette
Being put down by everyone I ever met

I wish what I did was never true
When I started I wish I knew
That there were other ways to make it through
But I didn't know what else to do

So every night after each day passes
Tears fill my eyes onto my lashes
As I continue to make these little gashes
Across my skin, these bleeding slashes
