Innocent Suicide

by Jessica   Oct 30, 2006

She covers her arm to hide the scar
she remembers someone saying
no one cares who you are
she bought a ticket & came to the dance
she gave socializing one more chance
she sat in the back, then from everyone she fled
she cut her arm & cried as she bled
people kept away as she bled on the floor
tears ran down her face, as she cut some more
what is she doing
how long has she cried
they asked as they watched
this innocent suicide.

I love the way you described her situation, which maybe was inspired by yours. I really imagined everything you said, and I can relate to it. Sometimes it happens, that you just want to be "normal" and everything turns out wrong, and you end up the same way you were before.

If you want to improve this poem, maybe you can remove the word "she" in some lines. And for further writing, maybe describe more everything, and use poetic words.

I hope you're feeling better by now, if you need anything, send me a private message. =)

    Keep writing.

    Good job! 5/5
