Changing Eyes

by Kalgalath   Oct 30, 2006

As the leaves start to vicissitude;
Hues of red, brown, yellow, and orange,
Your eyes slowly begin to change also
Something I've wanted to occur soon

They change into colors unimaginable
Such beautiful colors I've never seen before
Warming colors that say I love you,
Care about you, and want to be with you

They don't keep secrets
I remember, before the change,
Your eyes hid secrets
I did not like that
So what are those secrets now
That you're just fearful to speak
You need to whisper them all aloud

Today, I told you my secrets now
That I've been scared to tell
I wrote them all aloud, so you could hear them
I wish you could do the same for me
I have faith that some night you will

A night, when instead of seeing stars, we can hear them
And there are no voices, I haven't heard a sound
Magic is the only thing we're hearing
Can you tell I'm excited?

I take one look into them,
And am lost
Lost in a world of beauty and grace
I am in a daze

Your eyes reveal everything to me
I know everything there is to know about you
Never to forget what I saw
And what your eyes told me
I got to see everything what I've wanted to
Now I will follow your eyes to avoid from getting lost

Your eyes have truly changed since that first day we met
Now, if only you will notice the change in my own eyes
