Made a Mistake

by Keith Whiteman   Nov 1, 2006

I made a mistake
That I would never forget
But to keep
To cherish and learn from
My heart was crush
I was blinded
I don’t know why
Maybe it was suppose to be
Or I was confused

I miss her smile
It filters my heart with joy
Her confidence in me
Her green eyes
That drowned me with desire
What affects me most?
She doesn’t really know
How much I am missing her

I hear her voice
Relinquishes me with rejoice
Dreaming of that second chance
To grip her in my arms
Telling her how much I care
What I want to share
Our passion to be
My confessions for her to keep
Explaining
How much I am missing her
