Waiting

by Keith Whiteman   Nov 1, 2006

Urging for an answer,
Sorry for rushing.
Questions to ask.
Restless for a response.
Lonely at night.
Trying to understand,
Facts about my life.
Searching for emotional support.
This particular girl,
Open to learn about my life.
Releasing me from holding,
Concealed tear drops.
Encouraging me to move on.
Appreciate my thoughts and concept.
Not embarrassed to hold my hand.
When I think of this girl,
All I can picture,
Those light shaded blue eyes,
Staring in mine.
Making me wonder,
If she wants the same thng.
I know patience is the key,
But it feels so long.
Hoping my reactions
Dont pull her away
All I want her to know
Dont look at me as the world does.
