The king Protea
BY ZV TYOBO (AUTHER)

Who am I?
I am the king Protea

Am indigenous in South Africa
Thus I’m an African
I was born in the driest South African regions

Yebo Yes!!!
I’m the king Protea

I’m not just like any other plant or flower, I’m unique, natural
And realistic, with precious and beautiful green leaves,
With pink and white coloured leaves which beautifies me
Thus I’m special and unique,
Even the rose respect me,

Yebo Yes!!!
I’m the king Protea

I value myself as the king protea
Then why I have to let thee bee to squeeze my honey?
Why should I praise the rose for her favourable conditions she belongs to?
Why should I behave so negatively because?
Because thus demeaning my state to be whom am I

Yebo Yes!!!
I am the king Protea

I won’t ever let any cross-pollution towards me
Thus I will be ratifying myself, while
I claim to be natural and constant, inflexible as the northern star.
Yaw! I’m the star of my self and my nation
I’m indigenous then I a national flower

Really, really I will never give praise by demeaning my self
Let me alone Rosé
I will be rather be a Hermit
