The Knife...My only friend?

They all deserted me
I often wonder why
Is it because i was too shy

To those i called my friends...i guess you dont care
i tried my hardest
But it wasnt enough
I always wanted so much to be able to laugh

Is the knife my only friend
silver and gleaming
with such a sharp end

Im going to die
that much is clear
For me dying was never a fear

To those i call my friends
I shall say goodbye
As i sink deeper into the abyss
That is the ending of my life
