Down in my darkness

Down in my darkness
my tears flow
like the river of blood
like the darkness rushing through my heart
down in my tears
my soul fades
like the lost music my soul once played
like the silent notes rushing through my head

I scream for help
but down in my darkness
no one can hear nor see

down in my soul
my life slips away
like my tears of blood
like my cries pounding out my voice
down my life goes
in my darkness of tears and blood
in my soul of empty screams and notes
and my soul rushing out my life.
