All I Wanted

by Daz Mellow   Nov 3, 2006

Born into a world of inexhaustible luxury.
Dressed in fine silk adorned with jewelry.
Food served on silver platters.
Knowing the supply is never latter.
But all that glitter isnt gold.
Cause all these years, I wasnt so bold.
Etiquette was applied to my life.
Forcing me to hide my emotions.
Cause when the world is so full of love, it is also full of strife.
Always holding in my notions.
No one asked me if I wanted any of this.
If I could, Id gladly get rid of this glitch.
Cause under all this silk and jewelry.
I wanted to be free.
All I wanted was to be me.
