The disparity

by Michelle   Nov 4, 2006

She saw them fading away
Trying hard to forestall them from breaking
As the days went by her skies grew gray
Her world felt like it was shaking

Everything and everyone has changed
She would not call her place a happy home
Something that was not arranged
A problem she feels the need to circumvent from

Her mother who she knows is strong
Has become afraid and weak
The plight of her family was going to last long
To solve her problems she wanted seek

Her father she use to see as being gentle
Has become a different person
Now he is temperamental
He seems to be the cause for the family to worsen

A night of fear when she saw the gun
A memory she cannot erase
Not knowing what could be done
Tears came falling from her mothers face

She stands near her mother
Hoping that her mother will do the same
But as the problems got further
She has been the one to blame

Everything she had feared
Has happened so fast
But has been cleared
All the memories she has put in the past
