Lip, blade, skin, snap

by Lenny   Nov 4, 2006

Lip
To soft skin
Eye locked to eye
Hair and fingers entangled
Cataract of perfume,

Arm
To soft blade
Eye locked to straight-line,
Tears and blood entangled,
Cascade from open wound,

Fingers
Gentle tracing
Skin to skin
And slowly, slowly
The permeation,
And zenithal embrace,

Neck
Gentle binding
Thread to thread
And slowly, slowly
The tightening,

And unforgiving snap.
