War destroys everything

by Keath   Nov 4, 2006

I doubt they would have seen it
With all that hate inside their eyes
They could not see much further
Blinded by rage and lies

How should I have known this?
How should it be made undone?
Seeing things to late now
Is making it worse, then when they begun

The sun is settling on the earth
Clouds have taken over the sky
We are all mourning around our graves
We are less than what meets the eye

We are dead, abandoned and beaten
Left behind in a hidden place
No body caring about our souls
Noticed by the defeat on our face

Time for life has come to end
Though nobody seems to care
The beating of their hearts has flown
No more memories to share

The sun is settling on the earth
Clouds have taken over the sky
We are all mourning around our graves
We are less than what meets the eye

The final clock has stopped its ticking
Riddles have made themselves clear
Their minds have finally opened up
Faces shimmering with death fear

The fog starts it soundless stirring
For last era in humans time
The earth crumples up around our feet
And finally breaks down in slime

The sun is rising up now, high
Shining without someone's bless
They are all death and forsaking
My memories replaced by a hollow emptiness
