Stranger

by isa   Nov 4, 2006

19 years have gone by
all without her by my side
19 took her to start
asking if i was alright

yesterday i discovered
recently found out
turns out that she does care
but nobody forced her out

i don't think i should believe
all of the sudden she wants
to recover the passed years
to be one of the best moms

i wont buy this BS
2 months old and she walked out
nobody leaves her sons and daughters
and expects some big love now.

invisible, rigth word
to describe her in our lives
absent the adjective
she's won through the times

she's lost her children's heart
just couldn't make it up
she's hurt us real bad
but we know we have us

five children left behind
two of'em under fifteen
they keep her in their minds
they wonder when she is here

i wonder who she is
i know that she's not here
she is a perfect stranger
we'll never get to meet.
