Love's Past and Present.

by **dare~2~breathe**   Nov 4, 2006

I feel you
all the time,
Everywhere.
Once more you're here,
Deep in my thoughts
though far from my stare.

I need you.
Each and every breath
echoes in my empty head.
Begging my heart to let you in,
The things I wish I'd said.

Where are you?
I can't see you anymore.
I search my memory for comfort,
I find only,
that I love you more,

More than the sun loves to shine.
Faster than the river flows.
Deeper than an ocean trench.
Reaching heaven,
and then, who knows?

Touching my imagination.
Crushing my heart.
Yet allowing me to fly
Above the clouds
and back to the start.

To the time I held you close to me,
letting the hours slip by.
The night I had you to myself.
Now,
I wish you could hear me cry.

Tears of times gone past,
Of joy and pain as one.
I'll carry this sadness with me.
There's no where i can run

to hide from this thrill
of despair and devotion.
My head is empty.
My heart,
brimming with emotion.

    Nice one ...
But if I may say I think it lacks that passion... I mean from your poem I can tell that you're gifted but as I said before you can add more fire to it..

    keep it up
