All Thats Left

by Kara Lankton   Nov 5, 2006

Your only three years oolder than me,
But yet it seems like less.
You were my world my brother,
And now i\'m all thats left.

The baby girl,
the only child.
When you were here life was quick,
But now its really mild.

My love for you never stops
And i regret each day.
But maybe you will come to me
And you will hear me say;

I love you bubba,
I finally get to say goodbye.
Now i\'m left alone again,
And it makes me want to cry.
Your suppose to help me through life,
Not leave me hear alone.
But now since your not here,
I face the world alone.
I hope that i make you happy,
And i never make you frown.
Because it would tear me all to pieces,
To know i let you down.

My heart and condolences go out to you for the loss of your brother. I know what it is like to lose someone that you love. This poem conveyed such sadness, it brought a tear to my eye. I dont think that your brother could ever feel let down by a sister with such great talent at poetry. Stay strong hun.
