The Butterfly's Truth

by Levi   Nov 6, 2006

You look me in the eyes,
And tell me nothing but lies.
Why do I remain to stay?
You never answered that question anyway...

I need the truth to survive,
Just because I feel lost inside.
The answers you keep from me,
Are why you and I will never be.

Chorus
I walk with the butterflies,
They seek the truth within the lies.
And they dare not justify,
Or even try to simplify.
Just looking at the World and what's inside,
They know the very number of tears I've cried.
The butterflies are truth among my fate,
And they try to repair the mistakes.

A grin on my face,
To prove I'm still alive.
Let me become of that which I truly am,
Seek the truth within the lies,
And never look me in the eyes again...

I thought I'd lost my way,
But it was just you getting in my way.
I will push on until the end,
And I'll make sure that this isn't the end.

Chorus x2

Try to repair the mistakes that you and I have made,
And make sure that I am not afraid.
If you accepted the truth from the start,
Maybe we'd have never gotten into a fight.
But it doesn't matter now cause it's the end of the night.

Say goodbye to the butterflies,
And everything you see in my eyes,
Cause you destroyed all that we had with your lies...
With your lies...

It's really good. Kepp it up, I rekon it would sound great with a bit of guitar to it :)
