Red goo

by Hannah Emellia   Nov 7, 2006

Shadowed in the light,
So pure; yet not so bright,
Black rings around her eyes,
Tonight you heard her cries,

Bloody smudges on my cheek,
Mommy's starting to get weak,
The doctor says theres nothing he could do,
That night Mommy's soul left me in a puddle of red goo,

Tears falling; mixing with the goo,
Now those people are going to take me away too,
The police-man took my hand and said it was okay,
But I knew it wasn't; at lease not today.
