Wake Up

by Taylor   Nov 8, 2006

Rays of gold streak
the waking sky,
adorning the waters with
flowing brilliance.
So beckoning the trebling leaves-
wake up.
Sighs drift lazily
in the morning air,
recalling the grace of last night-
wake up.
Silent songs of possibility,
so rich in warmth
and a hint of lavender,
a sweet accompaniment
to the soft winds past your window.
wake up.
