Bid to you adieu.

by abigailho   Nov 8, 2006

The day has finally came;
the one i wished would never,
a phone call from the hospital,
was my most dreaded hour.

"Come down immediately to the hospital,
your brother is waiting for you,
he requested to see your pretty smile,
and to bid you adieu."

Looking at your skinny pale face,
a tear rolls down my cheek.
knowing after today you wont be here,
oh, my heart it feels so weak.

Holding on to your frail boney hands,
looking at the blood spat through the cotton,
leaning on your slow beating heart,
you left on your journey to heaven.

Standing there, tears pouring down my face,
i felt a part of me died too,
holding on to your motionless hand,
i say: "brother, i bid you too adieu."
