I stand next to you at dinner,
I watch you in P.E
How was I to know,
You'd steal my heart from me.

I walked to school beside,
You were always on my mind,
How was I to know.
My heart would bump and grind?

I longed for you to notice me,
Just the one fatal stare,
How was I to know,
My heart would need repair.

You told me you loved me once,
While I just stood there,
How was I to know,
You'd strip my feelings bare?
