My Heart Will Never Mend...

As I walked into the door
It was an ordinary scene
Another boring Monday
But the night, it turned so mean

I slowly walked upstairs
And took a look around
And in my room I saw a light
But I didnt think to frown

So I walked into my room
To find the source of light
My computer held the answer
Like it always did at night

But this night it was different
And instant message then appeared
And after I had read it
I knew its what I feared

We really need to talk it said
My smile now a frown
I could tell that it was over
And again, id get let down

Yes he was my boyfriend
And to me, he meant the world
Whenever wed be together
My happiness just swirled

But I guess the sayings true
Good things are forced to end
But one thing that Im sure of
Is that my heart will never mend
