The 7th Lane of Love

by Iola   Nov 10, 2006

On the 7th Lane of Love lies a heart broken and fragmented thin.
A rosemary flower and memories of us, a street blossomed with sin.
Lonely nights and fire in my veins, a vision of eternal us.
No need for questions, answers interrupted, a bond made up with trust.

Your blue eyes gaze into my shelter, a street filled with a craving night.
I hide from your fury and nurture your wrath, I lie here and envision your plight.
Apologizing forever and please understand; I die each day without you.
The 7th Lane of Love is lonely, mentionable forbidden, but this freaking old street is true.

A carton of romance spread over my skin, a see your face in a fire.
Your lips on my lips, your hands on my face, you are my only desire.
May ashes take me, my life carved in wood, I'll treasure this memory forever.
The 7th Lane of Love is not worth living, unless winds of love blows us together.

Visit my vision and take my hand and let us keep our tears away.
This path that we're walking is bigger than us, I'll wait till the month of May.
To understand me is to love my soul, you'll dance in my dreams till the end.
A love so different, it will captivate me forever. I love you but must pretend.
