Sad Darkness

I look around and see
Time flowing by slowly
Feeling lonely and sad
As I look into the dark

Looking at the grey sky
Looking at the empty road
Looking to the left and right
Seeing emptiness and darkness

The moon that shines behind a tree
But no star in sight
I see nothing but emptiness
And a few dead trees around

This place is full of sadness
And tears
People with broken harts
All you see is emptiness

Nothing less or more
Sadness strikes
So does fear
All is gone.
