how I felt or how I worked.

If only you knew
how I wanted to be
treated and loved.

If only you knew
how I wanted to be loved by YOU.
I wanted YOU to hold me,
YOU to love me,
and YOU to care for me.

If only you knew
how I wanted
to be there for you
when you needed me most.

If only you knew
how I felt about you,
how I loved and needed you.

If only you knew...
