A mother's love part IV (free)

by Eve   Nov 11, 2006

He begged
and said he was sorry
but she didn't care
it was too late
he had hurt her baby
and that was unforgivable
she said she loved him
but he had to pay
it was heavy and cold in her hand
and she put it to his heart
nothing could stop her
the sound echoed through the night
everyone heard it
and everyone felt it
but now they were safe
he would never hurt them again
she would never see that look
in her baby's eyes again
she took a deep breath
and held her little girl
then she whispered in her ear
"we are free"
