Hollow

by Nicholas   Nov 11, 2006

A tear has fallen, a smile has gone.
Her eyes shall never see the dawn.
She left this world exactly the same.
Took nothing with her except her name.
The color's faded in her cheeks.
No one will notice for two full weeks.
But then they'll ask, "Have you see her?"
Yet, even then, they won't be sure.
Nobody cried, not a tear was shed
Except her own as she bled
It didn't hurt, (The open wrists)
As much as their parting kiss
Even so, she still forgave
The man who sent her to her grave.
