Life's Journey

by Tiffany   Nov 11, 2006

Time accelerates into abyss
People change with the seasons
Life consistent with its "bliss"
Tragedies occurring without reasons

Anger surrounds; you seethe
Depression envelops; you need space
It's all over; you breathe
Reminiscing; you embrace

Growth ensues through the process
One cannot dwell within past events
One must persevere to become fearless
Without a care to repent

The greatest gift is life and living
To love, to hate, to forgive, to forget
To find your inner strength in persisting
Through life's various regrets

Love, the most indescribable of emotions
Filled with everlasting omens from a dove
Containing the purest and innocent notions
To comfort, to nurture, to love

Yet love is the worst of emotions
Filled with melancholy and hatred
Containing the most grotesque of notions
To protect oneself, to hide insecurities, to bleed

Life's journey contains all emotions
One must accept and move past all the commotions
