Blind

by dying beauty   Nov 12, 2006

During the night I stay up and think about you
As I look at our star I wonder if you ever think of me to

I call out your name though I know you can’t hear
The silence that fallows is the answer to my fear

You are gone and I missed my chance to tell you how I felt
I missed the chance to lay down the cards I was dealt.

I was blind and couldn't tell you were hinting, I love you
If I had seen would I have followed through

Would I lie to him to make him mine?
Or would I have picked you and saved heartache and time

I only wish that to you I had been kind
I wish I had you and that I hadn't blind
