Rainfall

by ILOVEWAFFLES   Nov 12, 2006

Red raincoats
they dance
waterblue umbrellas
they twirl
neon boots
they splash
As the rain fills up her eyes
the little girl laughs
she catches the pretty drops
in her cherry mouth
on her cookie dough nose

She doesn't need rules
She doesn't need her mom
She doesn't need to go inside

She sits and waits under the Sun
The dandilion sun
And waits
She waits for the next sugary rainfall
