There's so many things we hold to us dear
So many things that can be so unclear
Like which road to take, which path to go down
How to put a smile in place of a frown
With all of the tragedies one must face
All you can hope for is a warm embrace
Decisions decide what and who we become
Hopes and dreams will be shattered for some
One things for sure, I can tell you this
