Better Tomorrow

by Easily4Gottn   Mar 20, 2004

How many tears that night did I shed,
The night my mom was to wed,
You\'d think I\'d understand at age 14,
But why was it that my heart screamed,
As I laid eyes upon upon the groom,
I knew my mom was to be in doom,
It was only one month after my mom\'s FIRST end(her 1st divorce),
She met this man said he was a friend,
He caught my mom on the rebound,
6 months later divorce was found,
Now moving away she found another,
And once again I lose my mother,
My 4th school in less than 2 years,
And never before did I see so much tears,
Leaving behind my old crushes,
Old boyfriend, friends and blushes,
To the guy I love I say goodbye,
I love you Brian till the day I die,
But now I\'m leaving, there\'s nothing I can do,
But always know I\'ll be missing you,
I get on the plane on a one way trip,
And the captain turns on a movie clip,
I start to cry I don\'t want to move,
And I know my heart will never be soothed,
The life I live sometimes I wish it weren\'t mine,
Because id left so many things behind,
Someone on the plane asks \"whats the matter?\",
I say my life has just been shattered,
A reply back overflowed with pity,
I guess she knew my life was s**ty,
But about my life how could she have a clue?
Was this the 4th time she\'d moved too?
A thousand tears could not change it back,
Sadness lives and happiness lacks,
Living through this pain can\'t be worth it,
Upon my dreams broken pieces sit,
I miss you all and thats no lie,
Thinking of you even after I die,
I\'m hoping for a better tomorrow,
One thats not filled with sorrow,
I miss you Brian and I love you all,
And y\'all have my number so you best call!,
(that was just a little twist on the poem lol)

its not all that good but please comment!
