Time and time again we've fought as friends,
Some days we are close and others we are distanced,
Hi, Good-Bye, thats all we hear from one another,
Time and time again we've walked by, lips tight
I've promised not to cry, and you simply dare not,
What there's been and what could be had seemed lost,
Hours have gone by where we spoke softly to one another,
Strangely by the next day all of that fades away
Small, measly, unimportant things keep us separated, limiting our bond,
The thought of us forgetting each other disgusts me, but sadly,
From what has happened it seems doubtful that we will be what we truly say we want
