Nothing seems to matter (not a poem)

by Emma Brown   Nov 13, 2006

Nothing is what it seems. Peoples lives are always getting destroyed, more than ever now. Let us remember those that fought for us, saved us but died themselves. People are always getting cheated on, lied to and broken hearted. It's a sham; lives a complete typical human resource. It's like a museum; when people break things they only have to pay for it, but when it's a life that's been destroyed it's a charge at the least they pay for it by. What's the deal with that? It's worthless; just like live. How dare they just have to pay by money for a life that they have destroyed. Abusing people is what we humans do best. We abuse sexually, mentally and physically. It doesn't matter if you hurt that person or their families because the most you are going to have to do is a life sentence in prison and you live a life of luxury there, you have your meals made for you. You may get a beating of fellow prisoners every once in awhile but don't you deserve that? Well, that's what you put the people you hurt through. I think you deserve it; what do you think? Living in this world is bizarre. All you read about in the newspapers is death, kidnapping and rape. Do you think that's right? Because I don't; I think it's a disgrace. You're a disgrace to the human race; aren't we all? What is the human race nowadays? Give me some help because I'm too confused to understand.
