Falling into the ocean

I stand here in the icy depths of the ocean
Praying someone will save me from the darkness
Praying someone could love someone like me
Then you jump, I don't know why, and fall
Falling fastly into my watery domain
Sinking down to my level, reaching out to me
Grabbing my hand and pulling me upwards
Answering every prayer that I've ever made
And somehow you think you are the fallen
Somehow you think you are the lucky one
You believe I am the very essence of beauty
Believe for some reason you don't deserve me
But in my shades of gray I know the truth
That it is I who don't deserve you or your love
Yet I cannot bring myself to reject it cause I need it
It saves me from my icy ocean
It answered my every prayer
