The Sea

by Lore   Nov 15, 2006

Oh, how your loving murmurs temptingly call unto me,
Urging me, your child, to join you in your home that is the sea.
Your endless chanting flowing through the denser air,
Making me recognize that it is you I must beware.
It amazes me, the immense intensity that is your power,
Little it takes for one small wave to soon become a grand tower.
Your wrath causing the death of many innocent mortals,
Taking their life's and leading them to deaths many portals.
Oh, gracious Neptune's daughter,
Your heart and soul made of life's eternal water.
And you carry an everlasting amazing beauty,
Protecting our lady the sea your only duty.
So my eternal fair lady of the crashing waves,
It is my mortals life that one day you may save.
