Thoughts are swirling,emotions whirling, my sanity unfurling

Words are lies, can you hear my cries?! I'm going to die!

stop the world, i want to get off
i can't lie to you, I'm still in love

In case you're wondering, that's my heart on my sleeve
I was lying through my teeth when I said I wanted you to leave

You are all I ever wanted,but now I'm too late
Now longing for your kiss forever, will be my final fate

I didn't want to tell you this,
but I'm really not ok
I love you and I'm sorry Rob...

    This is a great poem... it has a sense of urgency that runs through it which captures the mutual joy and pain of being in love and the dependency it brings... the ending ''happy birthday'' is quite unexpected.... but it works. great job x

    That's a really sweet poem. The emotion in it is so raw and true. That makes it so much better. I love this line:
