Marching band is a sport

I hate it when people say that marching band isn't a sport.

I would like to see them try to run around a football field while playing memorized beautiful music on an instrument. Always having to listen back to the drum line. Making sure you don't get your teeth knocked out by a brass instrument. Holding up your instrument so you don't have to hear someone yelling at you for not standing straight. Listening to a stupid beeping sound behind you during practice so you can have your feet in time. Making sure to play really loud when needed and really soft when needed. making sure that your making perfect lines, perfect arcs, perfect everything. Make sure your covered down when needed and in your spot when your suppose to. Making sure you do all the visuals correctly and the right time hoping that you don't hit somebody. oh and don't forget to roll your feet when you go forward and walk on your platforms when you go back wards. oh and one more thing, do all of this while keeping your upper body faced forward.

i know I'm just rambling but really it doesn't sound that bad, well for me it doesn't. but i would like to see you try then say that marching band isn't a sport.
