Painful sorrow

by **PaNDaBeAR**   Nov 16, 2006

He takes his shirt off
ready to surf
garbs his board up, from the sand
runs out to the sea
jumps into the water,
ducks under the waves.

padding away,
he turns around ready to catch a wave
he stands up
surfing like a pro

he paddles back to shore
with head down low
he puts his board back in the sand
and starts drying himself

then turns around, facing me
giving me a smile
a sad one, with tears in his eyes
trying to force them back
seeing the pain he is in
makes me feel the pain as well

but he walks away taking all the pain
leaving my own pain left
turning walking away, feeling the sorrow
hoping to see him again
