Dancing in the Rain

I wanna dance in the rain
with your body against mine
holding me so close
it feels so right

slow dance in pouring tears
your arms locked around me tight
shield and guards let down
nothing else to fight

twirling beneath the stars
soaking darkness mesmerize
cold wind embracing us
but suddenly i wake up

    Good start. You have better word choice and descriptions than most starting poets. I'm not sure if you had a rhyme theme because it wasn't consistant. You could try free-style first. Keep it up
