Life

Life
It has it's ups and downs
Like a rollercoaster
Or a merry-go-round
Or a tilt-a-whirl
Spinning you till you're sick
There's a choice to buy popcorn
Or a hotdog-on-a-stick

Life
It's like a bowl of cherries
Or some other fruit
Like maybe raspberries
It can be really sweet
Or be really sour
The taste can last a minute
Or maybe an hour

The main thing about life
Is to live it to the end
You can't take any shortcuts
You gotta stand by your friends
Grab life by the horns
Cause you're in control
Since we can't live forever
Let's rock-n-roll!

There's a fork in the road
Now which path to take
Left leads ya up the hill
Right leads ya to the lake
I can't help you choose
But you must choose one
Left leads ya to madness
Right leads ya to fun

But remember one thing
As you go on your quest
Life is very precious
You gotta treat yours the best
You only get one
Do something worthwhile
Now that you've read this
Did this song (or poem) make you smile?
