She Stands There

by FoundHim   Nov 17, 2006

She stands there
All lonely & cold
She won`t ask anyone
Because she`s just not bold
She says she needs no help
But with my eyes I see
That she needs someone
And that person is me
I was sent to her
This I know now
I approach her to help
Because I know how
I ask if she`s OK
But all she does is mumble
I can tell she`s hungry
I heard her stomach grumble
I take her arm
And pull her toward my home
I know she`s frightened
But I couldn't`t leave her alone
She stands there
Not sure how to react
I tell her everything will be alright
Because I know that for a fact.
