My wilting flower's dreams

by broken reflection   Nov 17, 2006

Blooming flowers,
A new beginning,
The earth's power,
The world is grinning,

Bud's are opening,
On beautiful spring days,
The sun shines on god's men,
Games their children play,

Grass grows greener,
No fence to bind its splendor,
It's so unreal it's obscene,
The earth is accordingly tender,

The cold nights,
Clash with warm waking,
The morning delights,
A life in the making,

Puzzles surrounded with answers,
Help is like cancer,
Wits are found on every corner,
All bad is deterred,

Fantasies,
Of a greater place,
Where love is embraced...
A paradise

'But instead I hold a wilting flower,
Left in the dark, cold and alone...
and all we can do is dream.'
