Back to the place where he's loved

Back to that place where he's loved.
But he's not home for long, until they play that song, he goes back to the good times when war was just a game he played with plastic swords and paint ball guns, back then it was played for fun.

Back to the place where he's loved. Family is his number one, priorities set aside. He's lived his life thinking he knew it all. Wow he was surprised when he actually got that call..Pack your backs, walk out the door, I'm sorry sonny your going to war. Tears were shed, just the thought, made his mother dread the letters she would get. She'd wait for the time to pass, till she got those letters. In them he always reassured her in time things will all get better.

Back to the place where he's loved. People knew him as a thug, one who never gave up. Now he doesn't feel as strong as he once thought he was. Weaker than the rest, with his strength put to the test, he wants to stop to rest. But his fate is death, he has no strength left to go on with the rest. Everyone has now left, he's now ashes and rotted flesh, eaten over by death.

Back to the place where he's loved. His tombstone says more than just flesh and bone, I made it home to the place where I'm loved. You'll all find me above, when ever you need love. Just think of me, that thug, who always felt free to give out hugs to the ones he loves...his mother read this a loud towards her family crowded around. No matter how crazy they knew he could be sometimes especially with his rhymes, he came back to the place where he's loved.
