That was truely excellent. I can relate to that so much. You expressed so many emotions with your words, and used the right ones to show it. I love this line so much, it really stood out to me:
Besides all the broken promises, we never had anything.

Also these two:
As I look back, I can see the distant lights fade
And darken any hope of ever returning here again.

That is what i call a perfect ending. Excellent write. Keep it up. 5/5 Definately!

This poem was full of raw emotion and outspoken thought...it reelly stong and seeps into you when you read it. but the flow was a bit off when you read it...it has nothing to do with the fact thats its not rhyming...the words just didnt flow. But the rest was awesome.
