The First Tests

by Joyce TJL   Nov 20, 2006

Cock crows in a faraway land
Knowing the right place to stay and stand
Awoke the shining mirror on a bright new day
Slowly as dawn makes on its way
Done was the other
New is the next
Wonders be the brother
Questions in the test
Walking took effort
Remembering notes and notes was the battle
Yet adventure crept through in and out
As her head started swelling about
Curiosity in her new book
Was it true,
Couldn't she wait for the two days to get through
An hour or so she spent her time
Hoping minutes shall just pass by and by
Sitting on the first is she on now
Working on what maybe next somehow
Steadily she thinks
This unfortunate soul
That this ice will then thin
And reward if sheâ??s bold

Chapter 2

The second was a flower
As beautiful as can be
Yet the bugs within it creeps yet in
As she wails for the bell to ring
Thinking, again, was the only thing
But though as boring as it may seem
The thought really brightens up a gleam
Darkness be in shallows
Rivers and boats sail smooth
As the wind in the sky bellows
And the knots in the clouds loose
Beautiful, gorgeous!
None could explain
The thought that made her swell all over like pouring rain
Heart thumping as loud as can be
Worse than a horse that got chase by bees
Sighing her next duty
Tower of dreams her next destine
Neither prince of charms nor prince of fear
Could never make go nuts all over
Yet time pass as slow as a snail
Those certainly make her all jumpy and wail
The surrounding that made her head ache
The quiet and only-papers, more could she not take
Still, kept in her desired heart
That no matter what it may not stop
For the grades below to be discovered
As a percentage and a pleasant recover

Chapter 3

Not bad would she say
Was the third for the day
Might be her best sport
But not the best coach
She had ran without covers but on the soles of her feet
Yet she feared it was still enough for defeat
Again, her mind fled into darkness
Like thoughts of millions flared on the curtains
Of it that just happened
Not far from where this was written
A word, a sign, a most wonderful show
Of something that made her spirits grow
Most sure she was as sure as can be
That she will get through the three
Worries yet hawks onto the little heart
That maybe yes, could be a maybe not
Drifted again was her mind
To a most wonderful song she had left behind
Then again, a different set
Of the story she had just read
Cruel felt as she ran it across
Buckets and buckets of bloodshed, then it had stopped
The morning duty almost gone
Relieved was she (hope till dawn)
But suffers again was there to feel
That four more papers shall soon be revealed.

Chapter 4

Just like dragonsâ?? fire long-long ago
The same way did she as she arose
The spirit within her burning inconsiderately
Of the new day that was going to be
Yet it pulls her down
And puts on a frown
As she remembered that
The first was the worse
New as it may be or seemed
The failure pain still crept within
Cracked did her heart know nothing must
Nevertheless, its OK....Well God knows!
Stopping this thought
Made her relieved
As she reminded herself
Of a book, she will read
â??The Dragon-Quartetâ?? so it is called
Made it sound tall
Red, green and even made of glass
She shadowed through time and past
Blue, orange and smooth scales
Made her awe all white and pale
Imagining swiftly as she may think
Yet the day of the new is passing quick
Looking and turning
Looking and turning
Her watch really was haunting
Then she stopped and started to sigh
As the clouds in the sky past by and by
The moon and the sun might be so bright
But not her spirit as it was light
Let it go did she let it be
For the time passes and soon will end indeed
