MENDING A FRIENDSHIP: by ivan070

Four years have passed and time flies;
I am here to offer a word of sincere thanks;
For the great friendship that we have shared,
For your wonderful company and valuable help;
Such little moments shall always be cherished;

You have now kept your distance away from me;
For reasons you never wish to discuss or share;
The same of which I will never discover or know;
But in my heart you are always a good friend ;

Forget and forsake me not my dear Friend;
Things are not as bad as what we think;
Simple matters may get abit complicated;
When we place too much thinking on it...
Misunderstandings are quite common;
So are the differences in our opinions;

Our friendship was built on respect;
Mutual trust has always been our bond;
There have been fun and good times;
There have been more joy than regrets;
It is more inspiring than disheartening;

Parting ways may be an option;
But It was a choice I never sought;
Lets put our differences aside
and rekindle our good friendship...

The word sorry may be most appropriate here;
For all the uneasy and uncomfortable moments;
Which I may have bought to you unintentionally;
Suffice for me to say that I have no bad intentions;
No evil thoughts, grudges or ill will against you
For you are always a good friend and shall always be.

It is just a case of misunderstanding;
And some miscommunication of words;
Which may be resolved by diplomatic means;
Just like good food and groovy music;
Friendship must be felt, be appreciated;
Hope that you have been well and fine;
And with good health always by your side;
May you be blessed with everything nice.

Take care and best wishes ...
