Tomorrow

by Robyn Park   Mar 22, 2004

I will weep tomorrow,
for todays pain is too new.
And I still see your face,
in everything I do.

I will grieve tomorrow,
when the hurt is not as real,
and your voice has ceased to haunt
all the things that I feel.

I will mourn tomorrow,
when the alters standing bare
and there is but a whisper
hanging in the air.

I will come tomorrow,
bringing flowers through the rye.
Today is still too soon,
to have to say goodbye.

I will weep tomorrow,
when the shadows forbid sleep
yes, I will know all sorrow,
tomorrow when I weep.
